My new trilogy project has been underway for the last year. The story bibles for all three books are done and the draft for book one is 75% complete! Here’s a peek at the main character.
Meet Rowan from Book One ~ Abandoned by her mother as a child for being an evil thing, Rowan is used to being shunned. She distrusts others as much they distrust her for the unnerving magics she was born with. Her uncanny connection with animals is an unheard-of magic. For this, she is disliked by other students at Moonstone Academy, all of whom come from nobility. It doesn’t help that she’s the latest charity student either.
Forced to spend her days at the academy studying the dreary teachings of moon magic, Rowan yearns to run free under the stars with her only friends, the animals. The desire to escape her mandatory enrollment has made her even more rebellious – a stubborn streak that lands her in constant trouble. But when Rowan risks the punishment of death to find forbidden books of star magic, she stumbles upon a dark underbelly of Moonstone Academy. A discovery that becomes the unraveling of the mystery behind where her magic comes from, and why she was born.
