I was out for a sunny stroll down on Granville Island today when a mechanical winged horse caught my attention. Being the fantasy geek that I am and a huge fan off all winged creatures––just ask Sithias––I knew this whimsical piece of art was Pegasus right away, and of course I had to investigate its surprising presence immediately. I had the pleasure of meeting J.C., one of the designers for Arts Club Theatre, and learned that Pegasus has been brought back to life to aid charity efforts for Hannah’s Heroes. Within the next week, the mythical beast will flap its wings for anyone who donates to this worthy charity. You can find Pegasus on display at Railspur Alley on Granville Island for the remainder of the summer.
