They say you can tell a lot about someone by the movies and TV shows they like. It wasn’t easy narrowing this list down to what you see here, but these are my all time favorites. Yes, many of them are old, but I can’t keep myself from revisiting them, because the writing in these particular selections are so very rich in story, originality and character development.
So what do these choices say about me? At first glance, you’d think I was a total sci-fi fantasy geek with a tiny dash of normal mixed in. But more than that––at least to me––this collection represents the height of human imagination. The ability to create intriguing, authentic-feeling worlds calls for an incredible leap of vision and an amazing amount of creativity. For me, these movies and shows are seeds that’ve been planted one by one in my mind and heart, growing over time to influence my own unique creation, Fate’s Fables, as well as all my future writing.
