Fantasy, Just For Fun

It’s not Halloween without ghosts

Check out my top 10 favorite ghouls!

There’s nothing better than a really good ghost story or movie to give you the willies and have you pulling the covers up over your head. Like that’s going to keep a ghost out. Pfff, they pass through walls.

In celebration of Halloween and the spooky spectres that’ve chilled me to the bone at one time or another, I’ve listed my favorite scary ghost movies with #1 being the most terrifying all the way to #10 for good ghosty fun. Call me a glutton for punishment, but I’m in the mood to watch one of them tonight and be scared all over again. Hmm, which one will it be…

Happy Halloween everyone!

#1: Samara Morgan from The Ring (This one had nervous for seven days. I mean come on, I watched the stupid cursed video too!)

#2: Kayako Saeki from The Grudge (When this movie was being constantly advertised, I got to where just the trailer freaked me out. Remember that creepy spider crawl down the stairs? Ew! What is it about long straggly black hair?)

#3: Freddy Kruger from A Nightmare on Elm Street (I was scared to go to sleep!)

#4: The Grady twins from The Shining (Sorry, but those girls gave me the wiggins.)

#5: Reverend Henry Kane from Poltergeist (Yeah I know, he was just some tired looking old guy, but he was spooky!)

#6: Eva Galli from Ghost Story (Creeeeepy!)

#7: Tom Hill from The Awakening (I had a lot of ambivalence with Tom. He was likeable but super spooky.)

#8: Dr. Malcolm Crowe from The Sixth Sense (Okay, he wasn’t scary, but it was super disturbing to find out he was the ghost.)

#9: The Soul Collector from The Frighteners (Gave me a few jumps but mostly laughs)

#10: Slimer from The Ghostbusters (What can I say, he’s my kind of ghost)

Have a look at Watch Mojo’s top 10. We agree on a few of them.
